Kindaidee started in 2017 when the two founders, Vee and Bow, moved back to Thailand from the US. Both of them discovered that they suffered from terrible allergies over food during adulthood including wheat, dairy, egg, soy, some kind of tree nuts when they were in the U.S.
Little would they imagine that living in a place called home is much more difficult than anywhere else. Back where they were living in the U.S, food allergies are common, thus they could live pretty much like the others. Most restaurants will either have food allergen menu or their staff would be able to provide information about contents of each dish. Grocery stores and supermarkets are also obliged to label their product contents.
However, living in Thailand proved to be very challenging for them. Awareness on food allergies aren’t common and food vendors or operators usually have not much knowledge on such health problems. This results in higher risk for them to eat out.
With their struggles on daily meals living in Thailand, they started “Kin-Dai-Dee: Allergy-friendly recipes.”
The name “Kin-Dai-Dee” simply means; “safe and healthy to eat.” Vee and Bow not only focus on creating menu and products that are safe for people suffering from food allergies, but also beneficial for their health.
Being organic conscious over the years, they also insist in using local organic produces in their recipes to ensure that people could enjoy tasty, healthy and allergy-free food with ease.
Current products include Kombucha, sauces and healthy food. They are always adding new products to their list of organic and allergy-free menu. Check out their FB account or send them a message to get updated info. You could also follow their little food truck to one of the weekend markets around Bangkok and savour the healthy cooking of Vee and Bow.
